Course Description
SB 533 workplace violence prevention training course trains individuals and organizations with the knowledge to identify and prevent incidents involving workplace violence. It covers the following topics:
Recognize risk factors.
Create strategies to manage crises.
Strategize impactful measures to reduce violent incidents.
Participants can learn about several forms of workplace violence, including bullying, harassment, and physical violence. The course will also help you explore techniques to reduce tense situations and create a culture of respect and safety at the workplace.
Regulations/Board Approvals
It is a mandate for all employers in California to establish a workplace violence prevention plan from July 1, 2024, onwards. SB 553 training applies to all organizations in California that comprises more than 10 employees.
