Course Description
The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard is a set of security standards created by payment card companies (American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International) to help protect against identity theft and other crimes. Entities that store, process, or transmit cardholder data (CHD) and/or Sensitive Authentication Data (SAD), or could impact the security of the Cardholder Data Environment (CDE) are required to comply with these standards.
This course teaches account data handlers what PCI DSS is, how it affects the organization, and best practices they should follow to help protect cardholder data.
