The DOT Hazmat Transportation: General Awareness Training provides a comprehensive introduction to the US Department of Transportation's Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR), outlined in 49 CFR Parts 171-180. This course meets both general and security awareness training requirements mandated by the HMR.

Designed for hazmat employers and employees, the course covers the essentials of preparing, packaging, loading, and unloading hazardous materials for shipment.
To stay compliant, hazmat employees must undergo recurrent training every three years, while those transporting by air require FAA-mandated refresher training every two years. This course is an essential resource for both initial and refresher training.
