Course Description
MANDATORY WEST VIRGINIA NURSING CEU.
1 contact hour of training on misuse/abuse of prescription drugs and drug diversion. Must be taken annually by nurses who prescribe, administer, or dispense controlled substances. Fulfills the West Virginia BON requirement. Continuing education course addresses chronic pain management, prescription drug and opioid abuse, WV evidence-based guidelines for best-practice prescribing, and naloxone use.
